Documenting your installation and *testing* to match what you document is imperative. If even one documented connection is incorrect, problems will exist with both the alarming, false alarms, police being called; tenant aggrevation and last but not least facility graphics will display inaccurate information.
Global can/will suppy a *locklist* excel spread sheet where all of the information must be entered. This is used to import the data into the Axcys system AND is used to create the site graphics drawing and back end.
Two other spreadsheets should be established that descrine the color code, cable number and wire number that attaches one end to each door, the other to the specific mux address and its corresponding channel number. This is mandatory for debug, maintenance and corrections as necessary following initial install.
