Manage Unit/Alarm Setup

 
 
  • How to remove duplicate Units:
    1a - If NON Alarm   Facilities Unit Maintenance
    Go to Facilities Unit Maintenance.  Find the offending duplicate, then delete.  **It may delete both. If that is the case, just add it back in using the same tools.
     
    1b - If Alarm   Alarm Edit Unit Alarm Assignments
    Unit E8 has two channels assigned. 104/8 and 104/45.  This could be where that unit has 2x Doors, each is wired to that unit.  If either is incorrect, use the the page “dit Unit Alarm Assignments Page.  Locate the one that is incorrect, double click to select, then click un-assign.  Currently there is no way to “elete”the extra unit out of the Alarms table.  But unassigning should do the trick.
     
  • How to Assign a Unit to a Mux Address/Channel: Alarm Edit Unit Alarm Assignments
    Select the unit you are interested in by double clicking on the row/record in the list. (A54 for example).  Select the appropriate Mux Address and Mux Channel.  Click assign
     
  • How to Un-Assign a Unit to a Mux Address/Channel: Alarm Edit Unit Alarm Assignments
    Select the unit you are interested in by double clicking on the row/record in the list.  The assigned Mux Address and Channel will appear below.  Click Un-Assign.
     
  • How to Change/Edit Assignment of Unit to a Mux Address/Channel: Alarm Edit Unit Alarm Assignments
    Select the unit you are interested in by double clicking on the row/record in the list.  The assigned Mux Address and Channel will appear below.  In the Popup menus to the right of the current Unit/Alarm info, select the appropriate Mux Address and the New Channel.  Then click Edit Assigment.
