Global recommends Slide Gates for all of its customers.  If power goes out or the gate operator fails, the gate can be manually opened by pushing it.  Although nobody wants a failed gate, in managed environments this allows the property to continue to function!  Swing gates take a lot of space which normally is not available in Self Storage locations, barrier gates are just too flimsy and dont offer good visual intimidation.  Lift gates are problematic when the power goes out and the operator fails.  Slide gates provide the best solution in a working environment and when a failure occurs!
