This is the time interval for the Wireless Contact to check for a change of state for the door - open to closed, closed to open. When it detects a change in state it sends that information to the Head End which then forwards the information to the Controller. The default setting is 4 Seconds. However also available are 1 Second, 2 Seconds, and 8 Seconds. Care should be taken and consideration given to choosing a setting that is too long or too short. Too short can result in false signals. Too long and the *remote* possibility may exist for someone to open the door, get in, and close the door. Unlikely at any of the allowed settings. In addition, the shorter the interval, the shorter the battery life. Conversely the longer the interval, the longer the battery life.
