What is a Portal?

 
A Portal is anything that you want monitored, that is NOT a unit.  Some examples of Portals include:
  • Hinged man door
  • A hallway with sensors
  • An elevator
  • A sliding door
  • A roll-up door
  • A room with sensors
  • A Keypad or other access device
  • A Gate or other access point
